"The whole experience was really positive for me... The best part was the relaxed and encouraging environment, as we produce much better work when there is no added pressure. That said, I did feel pushed to work outside my comfort zone, but in a positive and supportive environment.
The name of the course is so perfect really, I think Enrique did a fantastic job at inspiring me to feel joy through the drawing which I haven’t always felt or identified with before. I thought the structure of the course worked really well; starting with the directed exercises, then the free drawing, then discussion at the end of the class.
I think the discussions were really insightful and interesting to hear others though processes and feelings behind their drawings."

When Enrique emailed us about the Joy of Drawing classes that he was starting I was exactly that - joyful, because I get so much from these drawing sessions.
I enjoy getting together with a group of people want to explore drawing in different places. I enjoy the time we get to go and practice our making of marks to tell a story or capture a moment in many different ways. And I enjoy coming together at the end of the class to see how others have interpreted their surroundings.
